I wrote about my views on using themes with young kids, and there are certainly a LOT of early childhood themes to choose from! When you begin planning, Pinterest and Google can be a bit overwhelming! I am creating this series to help you with your planning. I have gathered all FREE theme based printable packs {mainly early childhood focused, tots-1st grade} that I am aware of and sorted them by letter so you can browse through and get ideas all in one place! I did NOT include holiday based packs, simply because there are so many and they are pretty easy to find when holidays roll around.

I have included free printable theme packs from bloggers around the web including; Homeschool Creations, 2 Teaching Mommies, Spell Outloud, 3 Dinosaurs, Confessions of a Homeschooler, Me & Marie Learning, Ooopsey Daisy, All Our Days, Creative Learning Fun, Royal Baloo, 123 Homeschool 4 Me, Lawteedah, Our Little Monkeys, Creative Preschool Resources, Our Country Road, Homeschool Share, Gift of Curiosity, This Reading Mama, and Over the Big Moon. {if any of you ladies notice an error/edit please let me know!}

If the pack was created by another blogger, I listed their {blog name} in the brackets. If there aren’t any brackets, I made it!

More Letter T/Tiger Fun…

One evening, after dinner, she sat down at her desk and told me she was going to do her schoolwork.  That she did!  She worked for awhile as you will see below…Homeschool Tot School-1406

After coloring and tracing a bit, she asked to glue her shapes on purple paper.

This week we used letter T stickers to decorate the letter…Homeschool Tot School-1440

She cut her own tigers too!Homeschool Tot School-1444

Here she is working on Letter Tt Dot Fun, we used magnetic gems. This set is included in the Animal ABC Bundle, or you can purchase the set as a stand alone set for $1.25 on Teacher’s Notebook.Homeschool Tot School-1431

Special Note: Please read my post about Following the Child’s Lead if you have a tot and need info about this. All tots are different and what Ladybug is doing may not be appropriate for your child, even if s/he is the same age!

I tried something new this week, a letter bin, and she loved it!  I did something similar with Krash years ago, and thought she might enjoy it.  It takes a bit of work to gather it all, but it really helps emphasize the letter and the sounds.  I grabbed many items that begin with T and letters too.  Then when the week began, I challenged Krash to find little things that also began with T, as a review for him. {he added a Transformer, train, tape, and pretend tomato}.Letter T Bin-1275

We explored the letter T box almost daily!Homeschool Tot School-1422

We love our Alphabet Soup set! Here we were going over the letter T items as she dropped them in the can.Homeschool Tot School-1427

By far, the MOST played with toy this week ~ Interlox. We share some of our toys in a bin rotation system with friends and these have been “gone” for awhile.  When the bin returned, I added them to her shelf and she was immediately drawn to them.  Here’s her airplane…Homeschool Tot School-1278

She told me this was a platypus {yes, she is a Phineas and Ferb fan thanks to her brothers}.Homeschool Tot School-1393

We played Connect 4 Launchers, tot style {no rules} a few times this week!Homeschool Tot School-1333

A toy that was passed down to us was a big hit.  She had fun making the Word World words with me! {it’s here on Amazon, but the price is outrageous-totally NOT worth that!}Homeschool Tot School-1341

Her shelves were mostly Fall themed, with a few random items!

    On her shelves…IMG_4738IMG_4746  IMG_4747

Our fall sensory bin was out in the open and played with daily.  Ladybug works on so many skills while she plays.

Here she was tossing leaves as we were singing one of our fall songs.IMG_4761

PacMan was “leaf blowing” with our ball toy!IMG_4780

I added in a glass jar when I was close by, she had fun using her tongs to put items in.

    IMG_4908  IMG_5014

She chose to use the tongs for clean up time mostly too!IMG_4913

She learned to stuff leaves down the blower toy and make them shoot out!

    IMG_5029 IMG_5030

We used marbles for spooning one day too…IMG_5036

The leaves/styrofoam was fun, although Krash liked it more than she did!

She had more fun arranging them and watching them spin around!IMG_4902

Plastic letters into the can was a BIG hit and played with daily.IMG_4880

One of our all time favorite toys made an appearance.  Even the boys still love this thing.IMG_4750

In honor of her Tot School Printable train theme, I got out her big toy train too.

Of course our Foam blocks were out a lot.  This particular time she was covering up her friends and rescuing them!

    IMG_4914IMG_4916 IMG_4921

I printed out some fall activities I thought she might enjoy, mostly from other websites-which I link to below.

Here she is coloring a squirrel.  She worked on him almost every day!

    She did leaf tracingIMG_4794

    Worked on a “Where’s the Scarecrow” bookIMG_4937

Counted fall items with me, she still can’t handle this on her own.IMG_4946

    Dot painted fall picturesIMG_4951

Ladybug still loves the iPad, usually while sitting in our bean bag.  We got a few new apps recently and she has some old favorites too.  She has spent most of her time playing Tozzle, Monkey Preschool, GoFun, Starfall, and Kneebouncers.  She is determined to figure out Monkey Math, which is Krash’s game, but it is a bit too hard for her.  She likes to do it with me.IMG_5044

    Thanksgiving Preschool Pack

    Thanksgiving Preschool Pack

We haven’t even printed our Thanksgiving Preschool Pack, but since it is time-sensitive, I wanted to share it ASAP!  Below is a sampling of what is included, you can print it all or just pick and choose the things your tot, preschooler, or even Kindergartner would like!  I hope you enjoy and as always-please let me know if you find any typos!

Again, I photographed our Thanksgiving toys and used those images for a majority of the printables.  I got asked last time by a few people how I do this and as much as I would love to explain-it isn’t an entirely easy thing.  I know how to do these sorts of Photoshop/photography things from back in my days as a pro photographer!  I am sure there are fabulous tutorials online somewhere, I just don’t have the time to write them!

You can download the entire Thanksgiving Preschool Pack here!
