Moments to Remember was developed as a simple way to look back on our week as homeschoolers and find photos that encompass the memories we want to remember. The week may have been tough, there may have been more bumps than smiles, but in the end these are the moments that keep us going, the ones we need to remember.
We spent the first half of our week at a camp with our church staff on our annual summer staff retreat. The kids LOVE being at the campground and with all of their friends, it is a highlight of the year for them! This year we brought our camper since there weren’t enough cabins for our staff, so we drove back and forth from the cabin area and the camper. The kids thought riding in the back of the car was the coolest. thing. ever.
On the last day, all three kids caught a fish!
Good memories, despite the fact that it wasn’t an entirely smooth trip, if ya know what I mean. I am choosing to focus on the positive memories and not the other 90% of the time when Ladybug was screaming about something random. She is in a phase and it is driving us nuts. I acknowledge that certain parts of our time away were less than moments I’d like to remember, however even just a few days later when I look at the pictures and think back, I mostly remember the good!
