We are reviewing a fabulous home art curriculum, Home Art Studio! We are using the third grade level, so Pac and Krash can participate together. I am blogging through our art projects to help keep me {the non-art lover} accountable!
Our latest project was Op Art, which I was excited about, since it did not involve paint.
We watched the DVD before beginning, and then referred to the printed lesson plan while working. The boys were both thrilled about this one and were eager to get started. We worked together {I helped Krash a lot, Pac worked independently} and they soon realized how much work it was going to be to color the whole thing.
They colored about 3 lines the first day.
They came back over a period of about 2 weeks and did about 2 lines at a time and Pac finally finished, Krash was very burnt out so we finished his together. He was so close to the end this day!
This is a shot of Pac’s final project. He liked the end result but was discouraged about a couple of mistakes that were not able to be erased since they were markers. I think it is awesome and it is displayed in our dining room!
