Better late than never! I think this just might be the very first time I posted Tot School this late! I was too busy celebrating yesterday and too busy cleaning up and hanging out with the kids in the sunshine today!
Krash asked to get out his Leapfrog magnet sets, and he wanted both of them!
He used his big pointer finger to pound in his letters this time…
Working on numbers with these feet puzzles {consignment sale find}
He made an airplane using his bristle blocks! He did some lacing… We played ABC & 123 Jingo for the first time! He really enjoyed it and did great! I made our box filled with ping pong balls this week and added in some tubes. He had GREAT fun exploring with this! We added Erin’s awesome shapes to our daily calendar routine. He chooses a shape of the day and walks around the schoolroom looking through his little shape window and finds something to match the shape! I LOVE these things, so does he!
We continue to explore our Easter theme, completing our last few activities focused on Easter. He dot painted his He is Risen sheet…
We put our numbers in order and then he practiced counting 1:1 several times with his big pointer.
He made his butterfly cut and glue craft…
He completed his Jelly Bean Prayer book, one day coloring at the big table with Pac, it was so cute!
H is for house! We read Tumble Bumble, which he LOVED!
Ladybug had tons of fun exploring STRING this week! I cut longs strands of yarn and bunched it all together in a ball and gave it to her. She was SO funny to watch as she pulled it all apart and worked to get it untangled! She also loved it when Pac Man dangled it in front of her…serious eye-hand coordination going on here! 😉
She still loves to read and we recently found this old book of Pac Man’s and she LOVES it!
She is very into the Itty Bitty I Spy Bag too!She played with our Ikea cups a lot this week! Pac Man built her a spinny thing with the bristle blocks and showed her how to spin it, she loved this!She is up on all 4s now! She still mainly scoots on her belly, but she can get on all 4 and she can also sit herself up now!
I saw a neat experiment in my Family Fun magazine, so we tried it! Oil-water-food coloring and an Alka Seltzer Antacid tablet {except I missed the word “antacid” and used a cold Alka Seltzer, it sorta worked}. We got a few green bubbles to come up…Krash enjoyed when I told him to shake as hard as he could!
Um, yeah—melted my heart. Krash is “showing” Ladybug how to play the Leapster.
