Ladybug’s thoughts… she really enjoyed these and loved finding them on her shelves to play with! She immediately began sorting them by size on her own, and has done that several times since.
I made some patterns with her, mostly she enjoyed knocking them apart when I was done!
As for the boys, they definitely liked them, but weren’t as drawn to them as other toys. I will be using them with Krash especially during math time. The boys had a blast playing “cars” with them and using them creatively.
My thoughts…the teacher in me LOVES these! They are accurate measurements, as shown below, so can be used for measuring in a fun way. They are great for patterns and sorting too. A fabulous hands on tool for so many early math skills.
