We got our first balance bike many years ago, when Krash was 3. It was a Strider bike and we were in love instantly. He was a quick learner, was zooming around quickly, and then transitioned to a pedal bike when he was 4. He never used training wheels and was pedaling within minutes of trying for the first time. We were in shock after teaching our oldest son traditionally {with training wheels and no balance bike}.
