We have a teenager!

I cannot believe we have TEENager! This is a pivotal year as our youngest turned 6 and truly became a “big kid” and our oldest went from preteen to actual teen!

We have a 9 Year Old!

Our middle son turned nine recently and he is just as obsessed with birds as his little sister is! His entire birthday list consisted of bird everything. He is holding the Blue Jay he built from one of his gifts, the Lego bird set! The cake pops were made by my mom for him!

The Beach

We got to go to the beach for a surprise vacation. My aunt owns condos and offered them to us for free, which lined up with the week Krash had off of gymnastics practice, which equaled YAY we are homeschoolers and we can go! It was an awesome trip and I am so thankful!

While at the beach, the little girl got her ears pierced. She had been wanting it for about a year and with everything that has happened this year {my husband’s injury, our move, etc.} it just never got done. Well, it’s done now and she LOVES her new earrings!

Finishing Up

Slowly subject are getting finished for the year {like All About Spelling shown below}, and this makes my kids happy. We do school some in the summer but once they finish the subject they do get a break. Slowly we are coming to a close and we are all ready for a bit of a break. I won’t take much of a break with Ladybug, as with the younger years I don’t like a big summer gap, so we will continue to school together!

Warm Weather

Ahhh, southern heat has arrived! I love the warmth and can even deal with the HOT. I just hate cold. Sunny days, reading outside, gardens, homemade popsicles, it all makes me smile!
