It was a great week for tot school at our house! I am so excited about the many things K got to experience this week!
This week K cooked again, this time helping Kirsten make his very favorite peanut butter balls! He did really well waiting to eat them! Then he finally just dove right in!And the finale of the week was a special art project…painting a birdhouse! I wasn’t so sure he would even be interested, but man he was! He did such a great job and I know it is a treasure I will keep for many years to come!

What are you doing for Tot School lately? Let’s define a “tot” as an 1-3 year old. I would say anything before a formal Pre-K curriculum. You know, the stuff we do with our little ones to provide opportunities to develop their love of learning and maybe teach them a few things. If you have any ideas you’d like to share, link up your exact post to Mr Linky (if you have questions about how to do that, let me know in a comment or email). Provide a link back somewhere in your post to this post so your readers can see other ideas too!

We are linking up now to the Tot school meme. I love this because it is causing me to take more pictures of them that I may not normally take of them “doing things”. I love the shot I got of them side-by-side watching a show.
We too like the dot dabbers- we just use BINGO markers as they are washable and also non-toxic and CHEAP! There are pages you can print out from the computer that have a picture with circles where the child can dot the dabber in the circles but I don’t know what they are called. Does anyone out there know as I’d love to print some for another TOT school day?? I don’t know what they actually call the print-outs.
Have a great week with your families!
