~Ladybug is currently 22.5 months old~
We are down south in our hometown for an amazing event at our home church! The Global Impact Celebration is far beyond anything I could have ever imagined and we are so honored to be down here. 
We are one of the missionary families here and are meeting SO many other missionaries who are here for the conference. Because of this special event, I actually haven’t even spent a lot of time with Ladybug, so she has been enjoying the life of grandparents! She did come to one of the main events at the conference though and looked awfully cute as my date!
She got to meet one of my new favorite people, Ben—who is a Compassion International “graduate.” He was sponsored as a child and then went on to their Leadership Development Program and is now working for Compassion, while also serving in inner-city Memphis-where he feels God has called him!!! It has been such an honor to get to know him this week! I plan to share more about Ben soon!
Ladybug got to enjoy one really warm southern day when we first arrived and this was her VERY first time walking around outside, since she couldn’t walk last summer/fall! She loved it!
