I have a new PowerPoint show available in the Members Only section, featuring words from Bob Books.
Krash has been enjoying the Bob Books, which are a great partner to the You Can Read program. The Bob Books pull in phonics, while the You Can Read works on high frequency words and recognizing by sight.
We use this show to work on sounds and blending, he enjoys that the words are directly from his Bob Books. You will see I color coded the slides by book and put a little teacher note in the bottom right corner so you know when to stop the show {not going beyond books your child has read.
I also want to mention a wonderful blog which is entirely focused on teaching reading using Bob Books, she actually helped me behind the scenes a bit. There is a link to her blog on the first slide also.
This show features words from the first set of Bob Books, 1-7. Books 8-12 will be in another show coming soon!
