I didn’t get a chance to write a post last week, so this one is sharing the past two weeks.
Mom Got Sick
The reason I didn’t have a chance to write a post is because we were super busy and I got sick! I picked it up from my mom when we were in Florida a couple of weeks ago. Sadly my mom hung onto it for three weeks and is still battling some of the symptoms. For a few days this was my normal ~ diffuser pumping, loads of water, and essential oils to help with my symptoms and healing! I snapped this picture one night when I was sick so I would remember what I did to help. Thankfully nobody else in my family got sick, yay Thieves!
Walking Again
My husband made a HUGE step {literally} in taking his first steps without assistance in over three months. See the video here of the first time he walked without using a cane or crutches! He finally got cleared to begin walking and although he is no where near back to normal, we are thrilled to be at this point! That big box behind him is our rental wheelchair going BACK! It’s gone! Woo Hoo!!!
A Great Meet!
We are in the heat of gymnastics competition season and Krash had an awesome meet this past weekend! He has worked so hard and was thrilled to place 3rd All Around at this meet! He also placed high on events, thus all of the medals! Here’s a video clip of his parallel bar routine, his best event of the meet!
Sweet {& often difficult} Moments
Our family Bible and prayer time in the morning is not always the easiest time. But every now and then I have one of those moments where I am filled with gratitude and peace. I snuck a photo of my little girl sitting with Daddy as he read the Bible to us. She had all of her kitties piled up listening and was just being precious. These moments make the difficult moments all worth it.
YAY for Sun!
I love the random warm days in the south. We are so thankful to be living down here again and greatly appreciate days in the upper 60s!
