What began as a simple leaf rubbing science project ended with a leaf rubbing family tree craft that I am just in love with. Her ideas are better than mine! After a long leaf rubbing time, we began to make family member leaves.
We experimented with a few different ways to make our family leaf tree and ended up liking a tree trunk cut out of brown construction paper the best. We each made our own family tree.
I glued my leaves to the trunk, she decided to tape hers since she prefers tape. Below she is holding hers and mine together, she loved them as you can tell!
This was such an easy and fun fall craft. Just run outside and grab some leaves {if you have them where you are}, make some fun colored leaf rubbings, create family members and put them all together for a family tree!
