Coming to visit in NC is wonderful for so many reasons, but here is one I know all of my readers here will truly understand… Education Express. This amazing store is not only located near my family but also recently expanded and has an enormous, beautiful store!!! And to top it all off, I must confess, I am very graciously taken care of by my momma, who offers to buy my kids educational supplies each time I come home. So, I thought I would share my recent joy… Here’s what I got for P and K, and a little more about each…
- PIZZA TO GO
– a game for P to continue work on fractions.
- Hands-On Learning: Match, Trace and Write the Alphabet Mats by Teacher’s Friend
-I got this because not only does it come with the awesome mat and picture cards, it has an entire set of upper and lower case foam letters, which I wanted anyway for K. I think this will be wonderful for us to work with.
- Color Mats -This is a simple color activity, that has mats for K to match colors, and it will also grow into writing color words down the line. I like that we can begin using it now and continue using it for a long while!
- I am going to begin working with P on his unusual pencil grip, so I got a few supplies to possibly help him out…
TWIST N’ WRITE PENAGAIN CHILDRENS PENCILS, 4PK
The Pencil Grip Pack of 3
Grotto Grip
I also got some colored Popsicle sticks for P to craft with and K to sort and play with. Our supply was running low at home! 🙂 And, I picked up a new Bible (Guess What? Story Bible) for P to read each night, we finished his old one. We both love this new Bible, it’s really cool!
We are down in NC until Monday, who knows maybe we’ll make another trip later in the week. K’s birthday party is on Saturday too, I already know what my in-laws and my parents got for him and I am so excited, they are always so great about getting him what we suggest. We are SO blessed with grandparents who lavish love and support on us. I will share about that after Saturday!
I am so happy for you. That is awesome. It’s wonderful that your mom does that for you and your kiddos how wonderful and what a great blessing. The items look like fun, I think I want to try them too. I look forward to reading your tot school blogs to see how your kiddos enjoy each product and those pencils and how Paxton feels about writing with them.
Thanks so much for sharing the great gifts and products you found.
Hugs,
Sheila
I’m so glad you have such a supportive family! Enjoy your week there!
Looks like some nice goodies! I visited the link to “Your neighborhood” and boy, I had noooo idea the magnitude of the situation there. I’ll be praying for your family and your neighborhood, may you reach out to your community with God’s love.
In Christ,
