Moments to Remember was developed as a simple way to look back on our week as homeschoolers and find photos that encompass the memories we want to remember. The week may have been tough, there may have been more bumps than smiles, but in the end these are the moments that keep us going, the ones we need to remember.
I must be honest, there weren’t many moments I truly wanted to remember this week! I don’t do well during a transitional time and that’s exactly what we are in. I am ready for some sort of routine, which for us, will begin in July. We have a summer reading program at our church and the kids will have a partial summer school schedule. We have no schedule right now, and even with our summer challenge, it has been a bit difficult for me to maintain sanity!
One day, I do remember them playing play dough peacefully for quite awhile, using our Busy Hands Box supplies.
I recall the boys enjoying a HOT afternoon outside together for a couple of peaceful hours!!!
I hope to be able to focus more on the positive in this upcoming week. I haven’t been the best at that this past week.
How about you? Do you struggle with the lack of routine during the summer, or do you love it?
