{disclosure: Jessica Sprague is a blog sponsor and I was given access to the photography camp last summer to review.}
Last year, I was introduced to JessicaSprague.com, a fabulous online learning classroom and shop for digital crafters. Some of you may remember that PacMan took a kids photography summer camp taught by Candice Stringham that we absolutely loved. Here is the post I wrote about it to refresh your memory.
I was so excited to learn that they are offering two session of the camp this year – in June and July. As I said last year, if your child has any interest in photography ~ SIGN UP! It is amazing!!
The three-week long camp is designed for children ages 8 – 13 and will teach basic photography and camera techniques. No special equipment is required – any point and shoot camera; even a cell phone or iPod with a camera will work.
During the class your child will:
- Get an email with a printable card that includes a new photography technique and a new assignment.
- Have access to weekly videos that they can watch at anytime
- Be able to participate in a class forum, and a class gallery where they can ask questions and post their images
Each Friday they will receive a fun photography scavenger hunt to keep them learning and discovering new things all week long!
The class is taught by Candice Stringham, an editorial photographer turned scrapbooker. I was so impressed with Candice last year, she explains everything in a way that is easy to understand and the videos are amazing. Even parents can benefit from this class!
Two session of the kids camp will be offered: June 10 – 29 and July 8 – 27
The session fee is $36 and they have a discount for families with multiple children who would all like to take the class. Just add ten dollars for each additional sibling instead of the whole $36!
We are so excited to offer two of our readers a spot in the Kids Photography Camp session of their choice. To enter use Rafflecopter below.
Giveaway is open worldwide and ends June 7, 2013 {so the winner has the option of selecting the came that begins June 10}.
