You Can Read Sight Words continues to be a fun part of our homeschool Kindergarten. Along with adding these new words, we also reviewed the previous words from unit one, unit two, unit 3, unit 4, unit 5, unit 6 and unit 7. You can see how we store ALL of our You Can Read stuff here.
Here’s a post sharing You Can Read Unit 8 with Krash when he did it! See all of Krash’s Kindergarten posts here.
We completed the work of this unit during a VERY hectic time in our life {our Instagram shares more of our personal life if you are interested}. We were packing up to move and dealing with my husband’s accident injuries {he fell off of a ladder, broke both legs, had surgery on both, and is still recovering}. Needless to say, I am lucky she learned these words!
Here’s the photo recap of what I captured {which wasn’t all of it due to the craziness of life when she completed this unit}.
Making her words using the little ledge on her shelf.
We played BINGO, with Spielgaben pieces.
Connecting words to make shapes.
Play Dough Words…
Color by number sight word, with stickers.
She enjoys taping together her word puzzles…
Word search…
Funny fonts with stickers.
When we got set up here at our new house we reviewed a bit to be sure she remembered her words after a break from school. Playing memory is her favorite way to review.
