This coming Saturday, May 13th, is National Frog Jumping Day! The day is based on Mark Twain’s first short story entitled The Celebrated Jumping Frog of Calaveras County. The annual frog jumping contest began in 1849 and is still going strong today! The longest frog jumping record was set in 1986 and was a jump of 21 feet 5 ¾ inches! So, go out and maybe do some frog hunting and see how far he can jump! Whatever you end up doing with your Tot, don’t forget to share it with us here at the Gathering Place! We love to see what you’re up to!
