Many years ago when I taught Kindergarten in a public school, I enjoyed using Read & Write the Room with my students. What is Read & Write the Room?
The concept is very simple. Word cards are placed around the room to be read and as students locate the cards, they write the words on a recording sheet. Read more here, including how to set it up, why it is a great activity for emerging readers, and more!
Nativity Words
Last week I shared our new Christmas Theme Read and Write the Room with you, and today I have a new set with 12 nativity words! This free printable set includes 12 different Nativity words: Jesus, Mary, Joseph, shepherd, stable, donkey, cow, sheep, horse, star, and angel. Each card emphasizes the beginning letter of each word, which is a great review for children who are learning letters and letter sounds!
