~Ladybug is currently 38.5 months old~
Here is her desk set-up for letter Q. I added some letter fun, featuring the letter Q using our Letter Construction set, our alphabet peg set, and Letter Q soup can.
The printable items are all available here on the Animal ABCs webpage. {files are released for free when they are posted on the Totally Tots blog for the ABC feature, letter Q is not free yet, but it will be once it is posted on Totally Tots!}.
This week we colored quails together {she wanted them all pink} and then cut them up to play hide and seek!
First, I hid them, and she went around finding them and yelling out the colors! Then she hid them for me!
She dot painted the letter Q…
Gluing her quails on…
Here she is working on Letter Qq Dot Fun, we used our magnetic pom poms and our cookie sheet. I used our wooden letters to hold the page in place. This set is included in the Animal ABC Bundle, or you can purchase the set as a stand alone set for $1.25 on Teacher’s Notebook.
Special Note: Please read my post about Following the Child’s Lead if you have a tot and need info about this. All tots are different and what Ladybug is doing may not be appropriate for your child, even if s/he is the same age!
We recently got this Alphabet Soup set and I LOVE it! I am planning to pull the cans down one at a time as we work through letters this time, and then again when she does RRSP. As she advances, we will use them for sound sorting!
We are loving our Candy Construction set, which is a review item from Learning Resources! Stay tuned for a giveaway coming very soon!
She continues to love this puzzle, even after our farm theme week is over!
We got out our Letter Construction Kit and made people and butterflies…
Then we made shapes and lined them up. I yelled them out as she jumped through each one.
Then, she was the yeller for Krash!
Fireworks on the roof was a first for Ladybug and oh did she LOVE IT! She smiled and clapped a lot!!!
World geography is kicking back into gear around here! We are focusing on Europe right now, since the Olympics are in London. I have much more to share about our world geography plans, stay tuned!
Ladybug isn’t actually a main part in the geography plan, but she is actually the most interested! She does this Europe puzzle {got ours in a set at a discount store, the price is HIGH online} at least 2-3 times per day.
We have a big floor map, and I had just the Europe section out for the boys, but she begged for the whole thing. So, I said yes, of course! She was jumping with joy when we finished it!
Ladybug’s week on Instagram, since we are using Instagram more, I am switching the Mom’s Favorite category to “Insta-Tot” . {I am using Printsgram to make the layout for the week!}
Featuring: puzzle with Daddy, pool time, Octonauts with Daddy, new froggy baben suit, Golden Corral, pretty braids, night night star, fireworks on the roof, Starfall, 4th of July, and Europe puzzle.
We are 1plus1plus1, follow us or see all of our photos here!
