Y is for Yak! She loves digging through it her letter basket!

See more about letter baskets here!
The printable items shown below are all available here on the Animal ABCs webpage. {files are released for free when they are posted on the Totally Tots blog for the ABC feature, letter Y is not free yet, but it will be}
I have started sitting these 2 together most of the time, when I need to work with them both at the same time. They enjoy watching each other!
Cutting out her shapes so we can hide them!
She chose water color for her letter craft this week!
She always loves the letter books, and spends lots of time just looking at them! This one was super funny since it is about a yak who says yuk to foods she hasn’t even tried yet! Ladybug is a very picky eater so she really liked this one!
Here she was sticker-ing her letter Y Dot Fun, see more dot fun ideas here! This set is included in the Animal ABC Bundle, or you can purchase the set as a stand alone set for $1.25 on Teacher’s Notebook.

We are back to doing All About Reading Pre Level 1 once a week. I am not expecting mastery from Ladybug, just using this program as a way to expose her to the Big Five Skills.
She loved the letter Y page!!!
Decorating for Christmas was a big hit with Ladybug! She really got into it this year! Pulling all of the Christmas books was definitely a highlight for her!
The BEST, was the last event of decorating day. We were all admiring the decorated house and tree and listening to Christmas music on pandora when suddenly the dancing began. Daddy spun his girl around for several songs, with her giggling and begging for more. It was one of those moments you know will be etched in your mind forever.
