Each week I share 2-3 posts sharing our home preschool learning. This post is only sharing our letter focused work. If we have a theme of the week, it will be a separate post too. All of our general play based learning will be in a final weekly wrap up post called, “Learning with Ladybug.” I am separating out the posts to make them easier for people to find down the road when searching for specific letter/theme activities. Her Letter N ABC Basket…
She didn’t play with it much this time, which is unusual for her. Usually she plays with the contents a lot!
I drew an N on our easel and we drew narwhals since that was her absolute favorite letter N thing, thanks to Octonauts!
CRAFTS
She loves the paint cut and glue crafts from Learn, Create, Love. This week we made the narwhal!
I tried to get her to make the numbat, but she wasn’t interested, but she did want to learn about them so we watched a numbat video!
PRINTABLES
She wasn’t too into her printables this week, she wasn’t in a printable mood I suppose.
She did ask to swat the N words from the Letter N pack which is available here. This printable pack was given to us from a kind blog reader who also creates printables!
We used our dollar tree glitter glue to find the upper and lower case letter Nn.
ABC Find It! is a favorite still, so we had fun with that of course!
Working on her lowercase Animal ABCs letter n is for nightingale craft…
Our All About Reading Pre lesson for lowercase was a nest with eggs. She loves feathers, so adding those to the bird was the highlight!
Sorting upper and lowercase eggs in the nest, these are the same printables I used with Krash!
Putting the nests in numerical order!
Our finished Letter N work!
Her obsession during our letter N time was obviously narwhals. She colored and drew them during most of her time!
