I have a new series of printables called ABC Find It! that I am working on right now and using with Ladybug! We used Letter Aa last week and I took pictures of the games we played to give you some ideas of what to do with these!
I printed one copy of each on regular paper and laminated the two image sheets. I did not laminate the clues, although I probably should have! I kept the poster whole and cut up the other two sheets.
Cut up images and hide in a sensory bin {rice, beans, etc.}.
Have your child dig out each item and find it on the poster! I added a small plastic cup for her to put the images in as she found them. {yes we got rice on the floor}
Use the poster to play a simple game of listen and find it. Call out an item and challenge your child to point to it on the poster!
Cut apart the image cards and hide them around the room. Ladybug LOVES this active game! Even Krash gets into it!
After you think s/he has found them all, match them up to the poster {or a second set of the image cards} to make sure!
Cut up the clue sheet {words} and put in a bowl/bucket. Have your child draw a clue out of the bucket and you read it.
We scattered our image cards on the floor, or you could use the poster to point, or an un-cut image sheet. As I read the clue she had to find what I was talking about! This gets somewhat challenging for younger kids, as some of the clues are more difficult. She loved this game!
There are many more things you can do with the ABC Find It printables, I hope many of you have lots of fun with them! You will be seeing them in my upcoming Preschool posts featuring Ladybug!
I will add new letters sets here {for free} as I get them done and then put a bundle download in my Teacher’s Notebook Shop when they are all complete! Right now letter Aa and Bb are available for download!
