Totally forgot to take a picture of her desk for letter U, it wasn’t too fancy since I don’t have any umbrella birds around.
I made Ladybug another letter bin, this time adding our letter U stuff into a basket. She wanted to keep her letter T stuff too, so it stayed in a bin too. She loved digging through the basket with me!
She found all of the little puzzles to do, and laid it all out on the floor as she admired it. After it was all out, I arranged it and snapped a pic so you could see what was in it! Alphabet Soup set, ABC peg set, Magnetic Letters, Ladybug Alphabet Puzzle, and more!
I drew a big U on our easel and she wanted to draw stripes all over it!
The printable items shown below are all available here on the Animal ABCs webpage. {files are released for free when they are posted on the Totally Tots blog for the ABC feature, letter U is not free yet, but it will be once it is posted on Totally Tots!}.
One night after dinner, she asked to do her school work and proceeded to work through all of her pages!
No, she didn’t have gymnastics this day, but YES, she did wear her leotard all day long because she wuvs it.
She was thrilled to do her cutting, and did it with ease!
We marble painted her letter U…
She finished her coloring on this day…
Then asked me to cut them out so we could hide them and find them together. After that I had her jump to the color I yelled out, she loved this!
Here she is working on Letter Uu Dot Fun, we used finger paint . This set is included in the Animal ABC Bundle, or you can purchase the set as a stand alone set for $1.25 on Teacher’s Notebook.
Creating with the Busy Hands Play Dough Box…
She asked to have her picture taken with her first creation…
She made all of these and would have kept going if it wasn’t nap time!
We finger painted a lot. I used masking tape to make her name and then she painted over it. The reveal when I pulled off the tape was awesome, she loved it!
We played Pengoloo and Gobblet Gobblers several times. These are two of my favorite preschool games, and the older boys still love them too!
She loves helping out with calendar time, you can see our current set up in this post.
Coloring the state of the day seems to be a favorite right now.
Krash is using the Draw, Write, Now books for his 1st grade and one day Ladybug asked if she could draw too, like Krash. Of course, I said yes! She chose a swan…
I was pretty impressed! She worked really hard on her red swan!
{her purple tray is here, but get it at Michaels if you can, it’s only 4.99 or less with a coupon!}

Ladybug started gymnastics this week! Where Krash takes his classes, they offer a sibling free so since Pac aged out of the classes, she got to take that spot! She LOVED it!
