I love rainbows and I love Q-Tip painting, so of course we needed a new rainbow q-tip painting printable set! This set has a variety of fun rainbow printables to help focus on color words, beginning sounds of color words, and ROYGBIV! I also offered a version that says “purple” in case you don’t use the indigo-violet version with your kids.
There are a few pages with full rainbows…
You’ll also find a full page for each color word, showing only that color in the rainbow…
Finally, there’s a half sheet for each color featuring the beginning sound and a place to trace the color word…
We use water colors mostly, but sometimes use Tempera paint too.
I hope many of you enjoy these printables during a fun rainbow theme with your kids or in your classroom!

WHY use Q-Tip Painting Printables?
The big answer is fine motor skills! You’ll notice how we focus on not only the tiny dots, but also using small items in painting or adding to the dots. All of this works on hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills
The letter identification is a secondary bonus!
