Sorry for my delay in getting this unit posted! We are going a bit slower with our RRSP lessons currently. Life has been busy and I don’t want to rush through them, so some are taking more than a week right now! We also added in a Batman week, and are full force in a Thanksgiving week right now! If you are doing RRSP and getting close to where I am, you might want to slow down a bit ;-). My goal is to complete {the creation of} the remaining lessons and post to the Members Only section as soon as I can but we have some things going on behind the scenes that are slowing me down a bit. May I suggest taking a review week or 2 {I just uploaded the 2nd review unit to the MO site}, depending on what lesson you are on. Or choosing a Themed Tot Pack or Preschool Pack to use for a week off of RRSP. I am sorry for my delay, life is a bit overwhelming right now and I am not able to find the hours in my schedule that it takes to create the units. Thank you for understanding!
This is the main section of our preschool posts-focusing on what we do for our Raising Rock Stars Preschool Curriculum. I am not sharing photos of each part every week, just what I happen to catch! We do the entire unit even if I don’t show it here in the photos!
Our letter this week ~ Mm, our verse: My little children let us not love in word or in tongue, but in deed and in truth.
Our bookshelf for the week…
A few action shots of his RRSP work…
The Power Point lessons are located in the Members Only section. You can see a video here showing a PowerPoint lesson. You can learn more about the Members Only section here. The entire printable unit {everything else you see pictured above} is available for FREE on the main RRSP page…
You can download the entire letter Mm unit here.
RRSP Mm lesson plan is also on the same webpage! Included is our exact plan {although I stray from my plan often}, with links to everything we used. Page 2 is blank in case you don’t do exactly what we do!
{A few things that were in his preschool workboxes for the week, not all activities are pictured}
He drew an eggplant from his Kumon Drawing Book and dictated his story for me to write! I love his stories!
We got out many components from my Five Little Monkeys Jumping on the Bed Tot Pack. He had fun revisiting many of them {actually he had no memory of working with them over a year ago!}. Here he was pointing to different body parts, using the card set “Monkey Parts.”
Here he is putting the ABCs in order using the Monkey ABC cards…
We also enjoyed some M is for Monkey activities from Confessions of a Homeschooler…
He LOVES the PlayDoh mats and does them on his own now. He is always so proud when he is done!
He worked with our Grasshopper Preschool Prep Kit ~ Here is is tracing the letter M…
This is where I share open-ended toys that were in our Star Boxes for the week.
He loves our Builders & Benders {an old Discovery Toys toy}
Our new {consignment sale new} ABC fishing game was quite popular too. {this game is made by “Shure” and I could not find it online.}
Our game this week was The Very Hungry Caterpillar. This game was not one of my favorites, but I do believe it ranks up in the top 5 for Krash, he LOVED it! We altered the rules a bit and played it every day.
See more of our favorite preschool games here.
We recently had a glorious day with friends in the country ~ a real treat for my inner city kids! Roasting marshmallows was a favorite. I love how much Krash loved them, and how hilarious he thought it was that Daddy hates sticky fingers 😉
