Spielgaben has an exciting new addition to their shop – Math Workbooks! We were sent the complete set to review and I will be sharing over a few different posts to give you an idea of what you could do with them and how they could benefit your homeschool.
First, the details.
Spielgaben Math Workbook is a mathematics activity book series for students from Preschool to Year 6. The series is based on National Australia and UK curriculum, which is very similar to the US. You will notice some language and spelling differences, but nothing that is a problem. Mainly just some word choices that differ.
The content has been carefully sequenced within each year level and across the series to take into account children’s likely mathematical development. The books are meant to be used alongside of your Spielgaben set, allowing for your investment to be used even further!
I have browsed through the workbooks extensively and love what I see. Hands-On learning is my favorite and these workbooks give you clear ideas in written format with invitations for hands-on play. I set up some examples to show you what the lowest level “P” workbook looks like and how the Spielgaben toys fit in! The P workbook is intended to cover Preschool/Kindergarten and is FILLED with learning activities! Below is just a small sampling!

The free-play alone that stems from this amazing set is of incredible value. My kids have spent hours upon hours playing with and learning with Spielgaben, and still do!
